Aims and Values
What is the Yorkshire Gospel Partnership?
- A Partnership of local evangelical churches with a shared vision of 'having a Bible teaching, outward looking church in every community in Yorkshire with a sustained and thriving ministry'.
- A network aimed at enabling churches and organisations to share best practice, to facilitate ministry training and to promote the Gospel by identifying and encouraging the creation of new and needed ministries.
- Evangelical. We are affilliated to Affinity and as such share its doctrinal basis. Affinity is a group which describes itself as 'a church centred partnership for Bible-Centred Christianity'. We are also in close contact with other regional partnerships from across the country.
There have been new developments in the Yorkshire Gospel Partnership which are encouraging and exciting.
We are a single regional partnership but operating in two areas. The two areas are focused along the M62 corridor and north, and the M1 corridor and the south. It is especially the areas of evangelism, church planting, and friendship-encouraging that can operate more locally.
